Okay, update to the work out plan:
STILL don't really have a plan besides my cardio workout (which I will do at the gym), but I did take my measurements.
Bust: 38
Waist: 35
Hips: 41
Thigh: 25.5
GROSSSSS.....
I'll check my weight in the morning on the scale at the gym so it will be consistent every time I take it.
Oh goodness...let's hope I can stay motivated and get a good plan going!
Not sure if anyone keeps up with my running commentary of my life via 365, but lately I've been constantly bitching and complaining about how horribly out of shape and fat I've gotten. YES, I know I just had a baby, but last time I was weighed, I was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I still can hardly fit into any of my pre-preggers clothes.
I actually went and bought a size 12 pair of jeans the other day.
SIZE 12.
That's the largest size that Express carries!!!!!!!!
Sigh.
So. It's time to get motivated and do something about it.
Tomorrow is the first...a new month, a new day, time to start fresh. I bought a gym membership today and I will be hitting up the gym tomorrow. I'm REALLY freaking excited, but seriously, I have no idea where to start. I also have a weight bench here at the house that Ryan uses, so I should probably utilize this, too.
SOOOOOOOOOO....if you have any tips, please let me know! It would be much appreciated! :D
I felt inspired today. I came up with this:
It's really the most amazing thing in the world when my daughter grins at me, or when I see her grinning at Ryan. She also makes noises that are very happy and content, very close to laughter. She makes me melt inside every time I look at her.
I made this little baby. I'm so proud of her. :)
Corbin turned two months on Friday, which meant we had reached an inevitable milestone: first set of immunization shots.
I was pretty upset that I was having to go alone, especially the last hour before leaving. I was DREADING it. She was in such a good mood today, when she has been kind of fussy the past several days. She was smiling and she was having a good time during her bath and then she was being all cute...gawd, my heart was breaking every moment.
Pre-shot Corbi-lou:
And then it came time for the shots...
She was sucking her paci and seemed so content. It went by very quick. The first shot she screamed and then she was in the middle of building up for her LOUD OMGWTF SCREAM when the other two shots were given. It was over in seconds. She cried really hard for about three minutes and she was blood red. She actually cried real tears. I was actually laughing at her, though, because she was so cute. She was consoled pretty quickly, though, with her paci and a bottle. Then came the grape-flavored baby Tylenol. I think that did the trick. And maybe she liked her bandaids, I dunno.
She's sleeping peacefully now. She stirs a bit every now and then, but I'm not going to wake her up unless she wants to get up. Let her sleep it off.
She really was a champ today. :) Post-shots:
Aw, she just woke up....
Time to feed my poor baby. <3
So there is that saying that says something along the lines of how you can tell things about a woman and her personality by checking the contents of her purse.
So someone on Flickr started a "what's in your bag?" group, and exactly as it sounds, you empty the contents of your purse, arrange them, take a photograph, and then leave little notes on the picture explaining each item.
It was really interesting for me to do this, and it made me a little sad at the same time. Check out my contents and tell me...what do you think about me?
Thanks.
Okay, third blog post in one day, but I can't help myself!
So there is this website, Overheard in Athens, where people can submit the stupid, hilarious, crazy, ridiculous, [etc] shit that they seriously hear around this town on a regular basis. I've followed it for many, many months and laughed a lot. It's so, so funny.
Recently, they branched out and started Overseen in Athens, which is exactly what it sounds like.
SO. Ryan and I went to Walmart a few weeks ago, and we spotted an old man sleeping on a bench inside the store with his mouth WIDE ASS OPEN. Ryan snuck up close with his camera phone and snapped a shot. I submitted the picture to overseeninathens.com, and they FINALLY posted it today! lol
Here we go: ZzzzzZzz
ENJOY! <3
Madison gave birth today! I'm PRETTY sure she is done (*fingers crossed*), and we have five: three boys and two girls! They are all so beautiful and so healthy looking! I'm so very, very pleased. I was extremely worried, as one in three Boston Terriers need emergency c-sections, but she gave birth beautifully!
Here's pictures! <3
[*does not need three dogs but is in love*]
Yayfun!
Sooooooooooo today is Corbin's one-month birthday! I cannot BELIEVE it has been a month since I gave birth to this baby. SO, I decided to recreate my 365days photo from the day she came home (the day after her birth) for my photo of the day. What a difference in both of us!
My how she's grown!!! Look at her little fat cheeks! And I myself have been TRYING to take care of myself. Yesterday I made a brave venture into cutting my own bangs. They didn't turn out TOO hacked up!
When they say they grow up so fast, they really are NOT kidding. Holy cow.
