Nothing really happened yesterday. I got practically nothing done in The Dragon's Wail, and I didn't even get my Geometry homework done because it made no sense whatsoever. I made some progress in Final Fantasy VI, making the three hour mark when I defeated the Phantom Train. I am beginning to see what Kevin meant when he said that it had the entourage feel, with all of the characters being given the spotlight, rather than just one single main character. I could under what the Cyan was going through when he saw the spirits of his loved ones pass into the afterlife...to an extent, at the very least.
In other news, I started to play Xenosaga again. I equipped my party with poison resistant anything, and I am finally giving those cursed Lizardmen the beating that they deserve!
The weekend went well enough. I made some progress in The Dragon's Wail, which is always a good thing, with a few new areas and some additional scripts. In other news, I finnaly met the Michaela, Kevin's best lady friend (and at one time, possible girl friend, but that's another story all together), so that was always cool, I suppose. And speaking of Kevin, I finally, finnaly, managed to go over Kevin's house this weekend. Unfortunetley, after two months of waiting for this day, all we did was play videogames (although Okami was and still is a beautiful game to look at) and watch random scenes from Monthy Python.
So today, we had a fire drill right at beggining of second period. It was cold, and I would be kind to say I was freezing my butt off. Well, some kid asked me if I wanted to buy an iPod headphone off of him. Turned out that some other kid's pair got tangled up in his back somehow. I didn't ask how - just how much. He said a dollar. So, I paid for it, and I have to say, it was probably the best street deal I ever made.
In other news, I got the first script done for The Dragon's Wail. See, at the beggining of every new module, if it is a level one character, the said character is giving a list of starter limits that usually consist of the following: weak armor, 3 potions of light healing, and a weapon so weak not even a goblin would flinch. Well, I made what the community calls a 'stripping' script, where the character is stripped of all his items. I added to the script though, where he was given a more powerful piece of armor, auto equiped that armor at the module's start up, and given a great sword. It may sound simple, but it took me an hour to make it. Of course, that includes all of the tutorial searching and question asking I had to do.
